I enjoy living an active, balanced life - whether I’m working out at the Redmond Athletic Center, hiking, dancing, going to concerts and rodeos, or traveling to new places, especially Europe with all its history and culture.
Spending time with family is one of my favorite things. I have two wonderful sons, and I love every minute we get to spend together. I have great friends that I get together with, including the “RAC-ettes,” a great group of ladies from my gym. We get together once a month for an evening enjoying dinner, laughter and fun.
Giving back is very important to me. I donate to several charities. I also volunteer at Clear Path Health Care of Redmond (Hospice), working with and supporting patients and their families. I’ve also volunteered at Healing Reins, which is another great organization. It helps people heal emotionally and physically, through horse centered therapy and riding lessons. For years I’ve volunteered for the Shop with a Cop. This program teams up law enforcement officers with a child in need. It’s a Christmas tradition. They go Christmas shopping for warm clothes, essentials and gifts for the family, then go out for a nice lunch together. It’s a great opportunity for building positive relationships with law enforcement.
